Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo is confident of playing again this season.
Zaniolo is recovering from a second ACL surgery in a year.
His mother Francesca Costa said, "Nicolò is doing quite well, he is also more motivated. He does physiotherapy every day and double training at home.
“He's mentally charged and we hope he recovers well.
“Last last night he watched Italy on tv and cheered for his teammates. He told his father: 'I would have liked to be there with them too'".
Francesca added: “Nicolò can return in March or April, I think.
“It's not too early and not too late. It could be a nice date."
