Loris Karius is being praised at Union Berlin.
Karius is yet to make his competitive debut for Union Berlin as he spends the current season on loan at the Bundesliga side from Liverpool.
Instead, the German club has 33-year-old Andreas Luthe as their number one between the sticks and he has welcomed the competition brought on by the Reds signing temporarily. In fact he claims Karius' presence makes him a better player.
Speaking to Kicker he said: “I am a fan of maintaining a little competition.
“It doesn't make me worse when I know Loris is behind me, rather better."
