Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati admits Tottenham tried to sign Andrea Belotti.
Vagnati says he'd like to keep the striker at Toro for the rest of the career.
“I'd love to see Belotti stay at Torino for the rest of his career," Vagnati told Sky Italia after the end of the deadline day.
“He has values that are crucial for being the captain of Torino.
"We had a chat with Tottenham but Belotti is too important for us."
