Former West Ham United defender Paul Konchesky says it is only a matter before Declan Rice joins Chelsea.
Blues boss Frank Lampard was desperate to sign the England utility in the last transfer window, but no deal was forthcoming.
But Konchesky feels as though Chelsea will come back from their former academy player.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, he said: "I think it's a massive plus that they kept Declan, it's like a new signing.
"But I think the club knows if they or Declan go on to having a good season, then maybe it's only a matter of time before someone comes in to make a bid for him. At the minute, I think you'd be looking at £60m-plus for him."
