MRCS to hold blood drive Oct 16-31

Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sabah will hold a blood donation programme to help blood banks as supply in hospitals throughout the State has reached a critical level.

The blood donation drive will run on Oct 16-18, Oct 23-25 and Oct 30-31 from 9am to 4pm at the MRCS building behind Wisma Wanita.

MRCS spokesman Leslie Chan said  since the beginning of Sept, Sabah has recorded an increase in new positive cases every day as well as the discovery of several new infection clusters in several districts.
