Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho says they signed Joe Rodon from Swansea City as one for the future.
Swansea legend Alan Curtis believes defender Rodon is "worth a lot more" than the fee Tottenham paid the Welsh club for his services.
Spurs have signed the Wales centre-back, 22, for an initial £11m plus add-ons.
Spurs boss Mourinho has said: "We got him because we can see a future for him.
"Let's work and let's see the evolution, and step by step he will be there."
