Record eight deaths in a day in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah saw a record  eight Covid-19 deaths on Friday with five in Sandakan, two in Kota Kinabalu and one in Tuaran, as well as 528 new cases across the state.

 A Covid-19 cluster involving a Petronas facility in Papar has also spread to another Sarawak district with 13 new cases, data from the Ministry of Health showed on Friday. The Sauh cluster found at Petronas’ first floating liquefied natural gas facility was reported to have spread to Kota Kinabalu, Papar and Miri in Sarawak with 17 cases.
