Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui paid tribute to his players after their 2-1 Champions League win at Krasnodar.
The victory sees Sevilla qualify for the knockout phase.
Lopetegu said, "We controlled the game very well at the start, we were able to score more goals in the first half. Then they pushed us and we had problems, we were sinking and we changed the system again.
"Then we had options to score the second goal earlier."
Asked about reaching the next round, he was resounding: "It has great value and you have to give it to them. There are great teams that are not going to achieve it. It is the merit of the players, they did a great job and they deserve it after going through so many difficulties."
