Don’t forget contribution of media practitioners, say Liew

Kota Kinabalu: Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah (pic) urged the government, community leaders, Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), business merchants and individuals not to forget the contribution of the media practitioners, who are also the front-liners during the pandemic of Covid-19.

Liew said media practitioners or reporters have played an important role as a “bridge” or “social connector” to disseminate updated facts and information to the public as well as to promote mutual understanding of the communities especially during this Covid-19 hardship.

He was speaking after contributed 41 sets of food and face masks to the members of Tawau Reporters Association (TRA) and some non-members who were also media practitioners.
