Kai Havertz admits he wants to emulate Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
The 21-year-old, who was signed for a whopping 72m from Bayer Leverkusen this season, has managed just one goal in seven games with the Blues.
But Havertz insists he wants to become a world-class scoring midfielder just like his coach.
He told SportBild magazine: "I have always remembered how dangerous Frank Lampard used to be in front of goal.
"I thought he had an outstanding record for a midfielder - and I want to use him as a benchmark.
"I'm also impressed by the fact that he has been such a likeable guy despite all his successes."
