Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand is full of praise for Southampton defender Jannick Vestergaard.
Hjulmand says Vestergaard is now pushing those ahead of him in the defensive pecking order.
He said, "It just gives more competition. It's a pleasure to see Jannik. I also took him with me right from the start because I think he has great potential.
"I had a good talk with him in the Spring, and my feeling was that he would get a good position in Southampton, and he has taken it.
"So it is clear that the competition has just gotten bigger. It makes me think a little about him."
