Barcelona presidential candidate Toni Freixa has dismissed the prospect of signing Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.
Election rival Victor Font raised the prospect after admitting he would move for the defender if Xavi asked for his signing.
But Friexa told La Vanguardia: "No, a player who has worn the Real jersey cannot wear the Barça jersey.
"Sergio Ramos is an emblem of Madrid, he will never wear the Barça jersey."
Ramos comes off contract at Real in June.
