Chelsea have made contact with minders for Thiago Silva about a new deal.
The 36 year-old defender has been a revelation since arriving as a free agent after coming off contract at PSG.
Thiago Silva was again outstanding for Chelsea's Champions League win at Rennes last night.
And TMW says such has been his early impact that Chelsea are keen to discuss extending his stay into 2022.
For the moment, Thiago Silva is on a 12-month deal with the option for another year. But Chelsea are already discussing the prospect of keeping the veteran arouond for season 2021/22.
