Arsenal and Tottenham are moving in for Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng.

The veteran German could be leaving Bayern in January or the summer.

His contract expires at the end of the season, which means he could leave as a free agent.

Accoeding to Bild, via Sport Witness, Spurs and Arsenal will be talking with Boateng about a move.

Arsenal want a commanding centre-half, while Mourinho has always been a fan of Boateng.

His injury history may be a concern to suitors, but signing him on a free in the summer would offset some of those worries.
