Kota Kinabalu: One hundred and eighty-four individuals out of a total of 1,156 screened in two localities near here – Kg Numbak and Telipok Settlement - currently under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (Emco) have tested positive, as of Nov 17. With a population of 21,000 in the localities and ongoing mass screening tests, the State Capital may see an exponential increase in the number of Covid-19 cases, according to State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic). A total of 812 samples have been taken in Telipok Settlement, of which 122 are positive, 590 negative and 100 still pending results, while in Numbak, a total of 344 individuals have been screened, of which 62 are positive, 265 negative and 17 pending results.
