Sandakan sees drop in dengue cases

SANDAKAN: The district recorded 508 dengue fever cases so far this year, a decline compared to 1,126 cases in the same period last year.

Sandakan Health Officer, Dr Johari Awang Besar (pic), said there were also two deaths, against eight last year. 

However, the decline does not mean the people here can take things lightly as they need to continue to up the cleanliness level in their respective areas.
