Ministry to ensure basic necessities sufficient during CMCO

Kota Kinabalu: The State Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) said supply of basic necessities will be sufficient throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) which will be extended until Dec. 6.

 Its Director Georgie Abas said 200 enforcement officers and 90 price monitoring officers from KPDNHEP Sabah offices as well as eight branches throughout the state would constantly monitor the supply situation of goods.

 He said the monitoring is to ensure adequate supply as well as ensure that traders comply with the laws enforced.
