Manchester United want to up the competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.

ESPN says Wan Bissaka's lack of capability in the final third has not been lost on his United bosses - in particular manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is keen for a more forward-thinking option.

Solskjaer is now looking to bring in another right-back over the next two transfer windows to compete for the slot with Wan-Bissaka.

The need for a solution has been heightened by United's failure to land right-winger Jadon Sancho in the summer.

It was hoped that Wan-Bissaka would progress at a quicker rate to help contribute in attack, but coaches have been left unconvinced he possesses the attributes necessary to pose a real threat.
