Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has mocked critics of Roberto Firmino.
Firmino was dropped in favour of Diogo Jota for Liverpool's Champions League clash with Atalanta on Tuesday night and the Portuguese fired in a hat-trick to lead Klopp's side to a commanding 5-0 win.
After the game, Klopp said Liverpool wouldn't even be a Champions League side without Firmino and he rounded on the Brazilian's critics again at his Friday press conference.
"In so many games he was the difference maker without scoring and then with scoring in other games," Klopp said. "I would feel embarrassed if I have to mention the qualities of Firmino. I can't help these people, sorry. If they don't see it, I can't help them. That is how it is.
"People who are with us, I don't have to say one word on how important he is. People who are not with us, I don't care what they say about him."
