Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri has spoken of his "affection" for former club AS Roma.
Emerson left Roma almost three seasons ago to join Chelsea.
Currently with Italy's squad, the defender declared: "For Roma I have a very great affection, everyone knows it.
"The Giallorossi have a strong team, but talking about the Scudetto is always difficult.
"There are also other possible contenders, for example Atalanta is growing a lot."
