Kota Kinabalu: Ensuring that the Pan Borneo Highway Project (pic) is completed on schedule will not only help boost local tourism but also create active economic activities in Sabah when the Covid-19 pandemic ends. It is hoped the government of the day would consider appointing more local contractors to participate in the project to achieve the desired and agreed work frame period. Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Sabah (SME Sabah) President Foo Ngee Kee said it is indeed beneficial to Sabahans to ensure the mega highway project will not encounter any delays as stipulated in next year’s budget.
