Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini insists there's no more excuses as they enter the busiest part of the season.
Gasperini says the "transition" period for their new signings is now over.
He said, “The transition is gone, you play every game to the best of your ability. The transition is used after the break to know the newcomers.
“There won't be any national breaks until the end of March, we will have many matches until December 23.
“Each match becomes important to give our path meaning, it must be like the first day of the season."
Gasperini added: “Liverpool and the Champions League have a heavy load because you have to play every week, but that's the way it is, and we must adapt.
“The important thing is to see the best Atalanta against Spezia. They are well organised and have great enthusiasm, so far they have collected a good haul of points."
