Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has suffered a head injury scare during Denmark's Nations League game against Iceland on Sunday night.
The incident happened on the stroke of half-time, when Schmeichel was caught in the head by a trailing knee from Iceland's Albert Gudmundsson as he knelt down to claim a long pass.
The 34-year-old seemed to be knocked unconscious for a short time, but fortunately after medical supervision he was able to walk off the pitch and was replaced at half-time by Frederik Ronnow.
He did seem in some discomfort as he went down the tunnel, however, and there are concerns he may have injured his neck due to the awkward manner in which his head was knocked backwards, reports the Mirror.
Leicester meet Liverpool on Sunday.
