Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits he didn't mention their winning drought at Manchester United before victory on Sunday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second-half penalty secured a 1-0 win on Sunday and their first victory at Old Trafford since 2006.
Afterwards Arteta told Sky Sports: "I didn't want to tell the players that we did not win here in 14 years, I think it was. I kept it quiet.
"I just tried to generate belief and I just demanded to be who we are here, in any ground, and I think you saw tonight is where we're starting to be and I'm proud.
"The way we approached the game, the personality we showed against this team at Old Trafford and obviously we're delighted with the win."
