S’kan parking fees to resume Dec 1

SANDAKAN: Parking fee collection in the municipality will resume on Dec 1.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) has suspended the parking fee collection since Oct 9.

MPS President Wong Foo Tin (pic)  said parking coupons purchased in October could still be used in December.

For November coupons, they could be used in January 2021.

“As for the October to December coupons, namely October and November, they are also excluded and the coupons can be used in December 2020 until February 2021,” he said.

He said coupons for a period of six months and 12 months (October and November 2020) are also excluded.

“The reserve parking spaces for October and November 2020 are also excluded,” he added.
