Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has defended his decision to start Dean Henderson against Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Red Devils slumped to a shocking 2-1 defeat in Turkey with a heavily rotated team.
Two breakaway goals meant United were chasing the game, and they never managed to put together enough attacking threat to get back into the clash.
"Dean's been great in the games he's played, and, of course, with a game coming up very, very sharp on Saturday morning as well, that's why we've rotated a few positions, and Dean's deserved his start," Solskjaer told BT Sport.
United play Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, hoping to end a run of three consecutive defeats.
