Agents for released Valencia defender Ezequiel Garay have offered the Argentine to Liverpool.
While Liverpool do require some cover at centre-back, they don't necessarily need somebody for the long term as Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk will both be back in due course.
With that in mind, an out-of-contract veteran who has performed at the highest level could be just who they are looking for. Step forward, Garay.
The 34-year-old has represented Real Madrid, Benfica and Valencia among others - and Goal says the Reds have been offered his services as they look to plug the holes in their defence.
