Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits Arrigo Sacchi has had a huge influence on his coaching.
Sacchi won everything in the game as AC Milan coach before leading Italy to runner-up in the 1994 World Cup.
"He changed the way we see and think about football. He is one of the most influential coaches ever in my opinion," says Klopp to The Telegraph.
"It was because of him that we had to assess the size of the pitch in a completely new way. Before he came up with his philosophy, it was always man-man defence and you basically marked the opposing player wherever he went.
"So before Sacchi came, I was told who I would mark and that was it. Sacchi's style and organisation made everything very different."
