AC Milan great Billy Costacurta says Atalanta defeated Liverpool last night by targeting their fullbacks.
The Oribici won 2-0 at Anfield to keep their hopes alive of qualifying from their Champions League group.
Costacurta said: “Go hit the weak points, (Kosta) Tsimikas and (Neco) Williams are two guys who play little, for the first time together.
"Consequently you must have the ability to create a lot and give them nothing. Liverpool never shot in the first half, in the second there is only one chance.
"As (Gian Piero) Gasperini said in the first leg, the intensity was different. Today they were not allowed to serve the attackers, (Sadio) Mané and (Mohamed) Salah were quiet."
