Chelsea manager Frank Lampard hopes to have Kai Havertz fit for his team's Champions League clash with Rennes.
The Blues have the second game of a group stage double header against the French side in midweek.
While it is unclear if the 21-year-old will play the whole game, Lampard hopes Havertz will be back.
The German has been in isolation due to testing positive for COVID-19.
"I hope he is available," said Lampard to reporters.
"He's been in for a few days now doing some individual work and he's looked pretty good.
"Kai is a naturally fit boy so I hope to have him travelling with us to Rennes and maybe he'll get some minutes.
"I'm not sure exactly how many because it was a two-week isolation but he looks in good shape."
