Yadim aims to distribute 30,000 food baskets in Sabah

NABAWAN: Yayasan Dakwah Islam Malaysia (Yadim) Sabah has targeted for distribution 30,000 food baskets costing RM250,000 throughout the State through the Peduli Programme  which has been implemented since the Covid-19 pandemic Movement Control Order (MCO) in March until the end of this year.

Sabah Yadim Director, Haji Samin Ongki said the latest programme also provides food supply and masks worth RM100,000 to frontliners, especially health workers and security personnel.

“Yadim also presented contributions to 50 non-Muslim recipients working in religious institutions such as churches and temples through the programme,” he said after presenting food baskets to frontline workers, boat operators and villagers in Pagalungan.
