Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz has been offered to West Ham ahead of the January market.

The 27-year-old, who joined from Lyon in 2018 for £21m, is available potentially on an initial loan and was offered around to clubs in the summer with Zinedine Zidane willing to let him go, says the Daily Mail.

West Brom were among those to show an interest but Mariano was unsure on a move to a newly-promoted side. However, a move to London and West Ham could carry more appeal.

Sebastien Haller has failed to make any meaningful impact since completing his big-money move from Frankfurt last year.

It has left manager David Moyes searching for more attacking options and could view Mariano as the man to lead the line for them.
