Centre renames cluster after firm’s complaint

Kota Kinabalu: The National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) here on Thursday changed the name of  “Tomher” cluster to “Tomher MC” cluster to clarify that this cluster has no connection with a company, Tomher Industrial Sdn Bhd, here.

 CPRC further said in its response to the management of Tomher Industrial Sdn Bhd via email on Thursday (Nov 19) that the change of the cluster name is based on residence area of construction company employees namely ‘Tomher Mobile Cabin’ which is building a MRSM building in Ranau. CPRC also said that a Covid-19 Management Executive Committee meeting chaired by Ministry of Health (MOH) Director-General has agreed the “Tomher cluster” is not in any way related to Tomher Industrial Sdn Bhd.
