3,030 (12.15%) Sabah Covid-19 cases are kids under 12: Masidi

Kota Kinabalu: A total 3,030 children in Sabah under the age of 12 have been infected by Covid-19 to date, said Sabah's Covid-19 crisis spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

“From this number, 1,241 children are below the age of five, whereas 191 are below the age of one,” he said during a virtual press conference, here, Friday.

Based on reports by the State Health Department as of Friday (Nov 20), Masidi said the number accounts for 12.15 per cent of the overall Covid-19 infections in Sabah.
