Uruguay assistant manager Celso Otero is unsure about the fitness of striker Edinson Cavani.

The 33-year-old joined Manchester United on a free transfer and scored his first goal against Everton at the weekend.

But he has been a bit part player at United so far. Otero is not sure Cavani is playing enough to get his fitness up to the required level.

"He is able to play with the same generosity that he has always done," said Otero to reporters.

"I think no one can say how many minutes he can play, we'll see it from the moment he participates in the game, although it may be unknown if it's from the beginning or coming in.

"We'll see how much of what he usually does he can do right now."
