Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta refused to be drawn on speculation linking the club with Christian Eriksen.
The Danish playmaker is unhappy at Inter Milan and the Italian giants are happy to part ways.
One team in need of creativity is the Gunners, who have struggled in front of goals recently.
Despite his past with Tottenham, Eriksen has been touted as the perfect player for Arteta's side.
Asked about any interest in the 28-year-old, Arteta replied: "There are a lot of players out there that could improve any team.
"But obviously we are not going to discuss any individuals."
Eriksen has scored four goals in 33 appearances for Inter.
