Tawau hospital collects 80 pints of blood

TAWAU: The blood bank of Tawau hospital collected 80 pints in a donation campaign held at the lobby of Eastern Plaza in last weekend.

There were 98 registrants on the two days but only 40 successful donors on each day was jointly organised by the Tawau hospital and Tawau LTK Recreation Club (Pesta YuWang) and held every weekend in November and December, starting from 10am until 4 pm in order to overcome the blood supply shortage problem in the blood bank. 

The donors received a goodies bag consisting from eggs, instant noodles, soy drink, Milo and a bottle of mineral water that sponsored by Tawau LTK Recreation Club (Pesta YuWang).
