41 families in Keningau get aid

A TOTAL of 41 families from 12 villages in Keningau received basic food assistance donated by Pertubuhan Kasih Umat Malaysia (PKUM) under the auspices of Ustaz Ebit Liew. 

The villages are Kampung Kirokot Baru Apin-Apin, Rizab Lambanga, Ambual, Panagatan Ulu, Baginda Laut, Bayangan, Kota Ayangan, Sondoton Baru, Padang Tembak, Ria, Bariawa and Bukit Merah. 

Donations in the form of rice, sugar, biscuits and others were presented by the Chief Volunteer representing PKUM, Mohamad Ikhsan Helzy.

Ikhsan said the relief mission is meant for the target group affected financially by the Covid-19 pandemic. “PKUM hopes the assistance provided can help ease the burden of the recipients,” he said.
