Tottenham's East European development chief Roman Dubov says Russia should get serious about Wolves defender Max Kilman.
Kilman qualifies for Russia and Ukraine and has declared he'd be happy to play for either nation.
Dubov told Sport-Express: "Everyone knew that he had Russian roots. I checked my phone now: back in 2018 I asked German Tkachenko if he had heard about this guy. Kilman was always on the radar. But he made the most rapid breakthrough this year. I think he has great prospects.
"He has a good press and the experts give excellent reviews."
Dubov also stated: "I think he does not discount any possible option. He has a Russian father and a Ukrainian mother. I know that he speaks Russian well. Probably just wants to test all the options.
"Not sure if England is counting on him. There are more talented people and a rather long bench. Most likely, he thinks that it is much easier to break into the national teams of Russia or Ukraine. But it's better to ask him himself."
