5.67 million households nationwide recorded under e-Cencus

Kuala Lumpur: The e-Cencus by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) recorded a total of 5.67 million households in the country as of Nov 22 this year.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy), Arthur Joseph Kurup said, the census 2020 Preliminary Findings report is expected to be published within three months after it is completed.

When answering a question from Dato Sri Hajah Rohani Haji Abdul Karim (Batang Lupar) in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday, he said, the 2020 Census is the sixth implemented since the establishment of Malaysia and that it is implemented every ten years.
