England manager Gareth Southgate confirmed Jordan Henderson was substituted during the Nations League clash against Belgium because of 'tightness'.
The Liverpool skipper was withdrawn at half-time in the 2-0 loss.
The news comes as a blow to Jurgen Klopp, who already lost Joe Gomez during the international break.
"Jordan had a bit of tightness at half time and felt he couldn't carry on," Southgate said.
"We'll have to assess him when we get back."
