Geoffrey Kondogbia is happy to be reunited with Yannick Carrasco at Atletico Madrid.
The former Valencia midfielder signed for Atletico this week and has played with Carrasco in the past with AS Monaco.
He said: "I have experienced very good things with Carrasco in the past (at Monaco). Now we have the present and the future and I am very happy to live with him again, because he is a very good boy on a personal and professional level.
"I am excited to be in this club. I am proud to be able to wear this shirt, I can't wait to debut (he could do it this Saturday against Cádiz). It is always difficult to talk about myself, but what I can contribute is work, commitment to the club, with my teammates and with the fans. That is the most important thing and then I will try to contribute more things."
