Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has urged fans to be patient with his team.
Many see Spurs as title contenders this season.
Mourinho told Sport TV: "It doesn't matter if it's Liverpool, Chelsea or West Bromwich. We want to win.
"The big Liverpool that broke the Premier League last year took five years to build on the ride of millions that we can't spend.
"Don't ask us, even making smart markets, to do in a year or two what others do in five or six years."
