Liverpool are ready to assure Virgil van Dijk of his place in the club's plans.
The defender is currently recovering from ACL knee surgery and isn't expected to play this season.
Contracted to the Reds until 2023, Van Dijk will soon be approached by management about opening talks about a new contract.
