Five Sabahans in junior hockey squad

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Hockey Association (SHA) President Datuk Seri Dr Anil Jeet (pic) is pleased with the inclusion of five Sabah Sukma hockey team players in the national special project squad in preparation for the Asia Junior Cup (JAC) tournament scheduled for next year in Bangladesh.

They are among the 27 names shortlisted to train under head coach Wallace Tan, who made the announcement on Tuesday.

Granson Noel Goden is the latest to be included following in the footsteps of fellow Sabahans, Shello Silverius, Muhammad Saifuddin Azli, Nasrul Syahkhir Sadikul, and Muhajir Abdu Rauf, who were listed earlier.
