Manchester City remain in the hunt for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Dennis Zakaria.
The Switzerland international has a contract with Gladbach to 2022 and Sky Deutschland says Bayern Munich are keen.
Bayern are targeting the 23 year-old as a replacement for Thiago Alcantara, now of Liverpool.
However, City are also interested in Zakaria ahead of the January market.
City's push, reports Fussball Transfers, has been welcomed by Gladbach chief Max Eberl. However, he would prefer to sell the midfielder at season's end.
