Agent Vincent Moscato insists Marseille winger Florent Thauvin is among the best players in Europe.
A flop with Newcastle United, Thauvin is being linked with a return to the Premier League after the way he has rebuilt his career with OM.
Moscato told RMC: "If there was a ranking like in tennis, Thauvin would be in the Top 100 worldwide. A very good player but Ronaldo etc is on top. Thauvin, great player, great player for Marseille but when you go to Newcastle, if you're very good, the guys keep you and then you go to Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City… Thauvin is the kind of player for whom you ask yourself the question: what did he miss?
"In the 2018 World Cup winners, he was one of the players.
"I am not disappointed with Thauvin! I would remember him as a great player, not the first 20/30, he does not fit there but between 50 and 100."
