Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font is adamant Lionel Messi must not be sold.
With the election to be held on January 24, there's a fear that Manchester City could sign Messi before a new president is named.
Font, however, said: "Did I speak to my friend Ferran Soriano (City football chief) for Messi?
"I told him to forget about Messi and look for other alternatives to win the Champions League because Messi will continue with us.
"We will win the Champions League."
