Manchester United face big competition for Braga defender David Carmo.
The Athletic reports United face fierce competition from at least 10 different clubs - including a number of sides in the Premier League and one of their Big Six rivals - who have already held talks with the player's agent over a move.
United are eyeing a move for the 21-year-old Braga defender after impressing in Portugal's top flight, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side keen on bringing in a left-sided centre back.
Carmo has been tipped for a bright future and has already been compared to Liverpool stalwart Virgil van Dijk thanks to his huge presence at the back and showing great composure on the ball.
Roma were in hot pursuit of the Portuguese youngster last summer but reportedly had a £15million bid turned down.
He had an £18m release clause at the time but Braga have now doubled that to £36m after he put pen to paper on a new deal at the end of last week.
