Manchester United legend Roy Keane admits that Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani has proved him wrong.
Keane, along with many United supporters, was concerned about the impact a veteran could make in the Premier League.
Cavani, 33, was a free transfer signing from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
He created a goal and scored twice to help United to a come from behind 3-2 victory at Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
Keane said on television: "It was always a gamble when he came to club.
"People were doubting did he have the hunger and desire. We've seen proof of it today.
"He could prove a huge signing for Manchester United."
